The Nemtek Group manufactures and distributes intelligent, electronic security and perimeter control systems. It has an R&D team designing and manufacturing a full range of globally competitive security electric fencing products and is continually striving for an increased share of the global security electric fencing market with special emphasis on the emerging African market.

HISTORY

The Nemtek Group as it stands today has its roots in two different organizations, Nemtek and IO Tech Manufacturing which, due to the compatibility of the respective operations, led to an agreement to amalgamate into one vertically integrated company. IO Tech Manufacturing has been involved in the security industry since 1990, specializing in the research, development and manufacturing of electric fence energizers and related products. It has now become a world leader in the manufacture of electric security fence energizers.

Nemtek started distributing a full range of perimeter detection products in 1991 and is currently the largest distributor of security electric fencing products in South Africa. Today we manufacture a complete range of electric fencing products compliant with the latest national and international standards. With an ISO9001:2000 certified electronics factory as well as extensive testing and certification of our energisers through an international laboratory, the electric fencing industry is assured of being provided with top quality products, at competitive prices.
